This video introduces the new database called, FishNutrients. This database is used to give access to species-specific nutrient data within the FishBase. The database uses information gathered from numerous databases, organizations, and nations. Using the compiled data, for the first time ever the macronutrient information for every fish species will be readily available. The database seeks to answer many questions, from where fish catches can help address malnutrition to climate change affects the available nutrients from fisheries.
