The Global Wildlife Conservation has crafted a plan to assist the Indigenous people of Central America to rebuild their homes and continue the generational traditions of environmental conservation. Rama and Kriol, communities of Nicaragua’s Indio Maiz Biological Reserve developed an action- based plan to educate members of the Indigenous communities.This tool allows the members to identify threats to the surrounding ecosystem and use their customary values and natural heritage to protect their reserves.
