COVID-19 pandemic impacts on global inland fisheries

The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted the environment globally and has led to recovery of ecosystems. This publication provides data about how the virus has affected inland fisheries. The study adds gradation to the generally positive environmental narrative around the pandemic by highlighting shifts in use of rivers, lakes and other inland water bodies worldwide for food, income, and recreation because of the pandemic.
